The right dock accessories depend on how you use your waterfront, but most docks benefit from three things. First, lighting for safety, such as solar dock lights on pilings, posts, and walkways. Will a Lake Lite motor fit my boat lift?
In most cases, yes. Our DC direct drive motors bolt directly onto the existing winch shaft of most boat lifts, including ShoreMaster, ShoreStation, and Hewitt models. Because lift designs vary, call us at (260) 918-2758 to confirm the right motor for your lift before you order.
Can my boat lift run off-grid?
Yes. Our DC motor and solar combo kits pair a high-torque direct drive motor with a matched solar charging kit, so your lift runs with no shore power, no trenching, and no utility bills. Combo kits are available in 12V and 24V configurations to match your lift.
