DC - Direct Drive Boat Lift Motor
The DC - Direct Drive Boat Lift Motor offers two set up options using either a 12 volt or a 24 volt system. This motor, when coupled with one of Lake Lite's 12v Boat Lift Solar Charging Kits will keep your battery in top condition. Industry trend, however, is moving toward a 24volt system. For ultimate speed and performance, we recommend adding a Lake Lite 24v Solar Charging System! The 24v set-up increases the speed by more than double when raising up and lowering the lift, getting you on the lake even faster! Dreading your boat lift wheel? Didn't eat your spinach? Ditch your wheel and press a button with a powerful Direct Drive Boat Lift Motor that's faster and stronger than Popeye! Worried about working up a sweat with that boat lift wheel BEFORE you get out in the sun? Get rid of that wheel and enjoy the lake faster, more safely, and sweat-free! So easy that the women in the house will use the boat more too! Even grandma can swiftly lower the boat in a jiffy!
The Direct Drive Boat Lift Motor will fit ANY boat lift that has a wheel. With a lift capacity of up to 7,000 pounds, the Direct Drive Boat Lift Motor easily installs in 20 minutes or less. I already had a pontoon lift with a 12V Direct Drive motor and I wanted to add one to my Ski Boat lift and increase them both to 24V. I replaced my 12V Solar Charger with a new 24V-40w system, got a dual battery tray and added a new Direct Drive with Auto Stop to my ShoreStation lift.
The install to the ShoreStation was super easy. I needed a 20” cable to go under my dock, but Lake Lite was more than happy to swap for the extra length cable at time of order. I run both lifts off the same battery group and they work great! Just had the July 4 holiday weekend and had plenty of juice for running boats up and down all weekend. Couldn’t be more pleased!

I hemmed and hawed about making this purchase for a couple of years now. It was confusing to figure out exactly what you need to convert from a wheel to a power winch, particularly because I had no shoreline power. This kit did it all, and made it very easy. The instructions were very detailed, including color pictures and numbers on the various cords. The only way they could make it easier is if they came out and did the project themselves! It was about an hour of work and I was up and running. I love the remote controls too. It's been 2 weekends and I could not be happier about completing this project.
