The average life span of solar lighting is 3-4 years. We here at Lake Lite Inc., we strive to get longer run times with our custom replaceable battery. Due to the light being over 4 years old and a replacement battery not reviving the light, unfortunately it is more than likely at the end of it is life span. Lake Lite does have a testing center if you would like to send the light back in for a full diagnostic test. Rating does not really apply in my case. I have had my blue lakelites for several years but they finally stopped working. I thought it might be that the batteries just would not take a charge any more so I ordered new ones but the lights appear to just not ...

Sometimes the positive and negative wires can get pulled out of the white connectors on the light when chaning the battery out. Try cutting the connectors off and hard wiring the red to red and black to black. Use black elctrical tape to keep the wires from touching.

Replacement battery took 10 days to arrive to British Columbia. In new condition, initially needed charging which should be noted for customers. I almost gave up on the light until I exposed the light to the sun for 12 hours. Works great now.
