We purchased the 40w 12v trolling motor battery charging system and while we've not had it long we are pleased with the product so far. The parts are very well made, so durability of the panel and mounting bracket should not be a concern. The system hooked together very easily and we only had to drill one hole in our lift so we could use the bracket mounting holes instead of the clamps that were also provided. Our setup uses a 2 battery 12v system and it charges our batteries successfully although we have not had to charge our batteries from completely exhausted to fully charged yet so we don't know how long that will take. But so far everything we've seen from the product has been great and our expectations are that the charging time will meet our needs. (we use our boat on the weekends with charging happening during the week) We chose this system over cheaper alternatives to get the entire system and we're happy with our decision as the bracket installation/adjustment and the plug and play connection of the electrical components went great without any issues.
