I'm replacing 12 of about 36 Dock Dots that did not survive Hurricane Michael (because I could not find them!). Just so you know, I found 24 of the lights scattered around the property, still lighting, after being under 8' of salt water storm surge. Amazing!

Checking on shipping cost? I was charged over $200 for shipping did this not included duties at the border? I was charged another $132 in duties at the border.

I have purchased these in the past and could not recommend them as they had problems with water entering the lights and clouding the solar panel as well as rusting the electronics. That said, these are a new design that appears to have addressed some of the flaws and if you want lighting on your EZ Dock you have few if any alternatives. The lights give the dock system a finished look and eliminate a minor tripping hazard. They arrived quickly and the order was received complete and un-damaged. Be careful when opening the lights to install batteries or change light colors that the gaskets are installed correctly and don’t roll or twist.
The lights come with 3.2V 400 mA batteries and you are warned not to use NiMh or NiCd batteries. I see no caution advisories regarding the use of higher mA batteries and if the lights don’t glow strongly throughout the night that might be an answer.
I need to wait for ice out to fully evaluate the lights but I am optimistic the new design will perform well.
