I bought the dual kit..There are two main flaws in the product, one's a killer and the other more personal preference. The remote transmitter is woefully weak. It will only trigger the lights from about 20' away. In my case this means I can't turn on the lights from my house as we are walking to the dock, and more importantly, when arriving by boat on a dark evening, you can't turn the lights on to identify your dock, or guide you in to your lift. The second is the temperature of the leds. These are bright white, instead of soft white, and do really not soften much by dimming. This bright white is good for looking for small objects you may have dropped on the floor, but is not attractive for socializing. It's more the light you would expect to see while getting a colonoscopy, than while having a few drinks with friends. Both these problems should be easy to address...multicolor leds like are readily available at Costco, etc, and, add a stronger transmitter, or better antenna on the receiver.
