Heavy Duty Y-Connector
⚠ Important: This Y-Connector will not effectively charge multiple battery setups off of a single solar panel. Multiple charging systems are needed for multi-battery configurations.
A heavy-duty Y-connector that integrates two separate Lake Lite boat house or boat lift lighting systems into a single power source. Available in four variants to match your wiring configuration: choose between parallel or series wiring, and between the current HD Wiring Style or the legacy SAE Wiring Style. Built from 18 AWG heavy-duty marine-grade wire with foolproof male and female quick-connect terminals for fast seasonal installation and removal.
Choose Your Variant at Checkout: Select the wiring style and topology that matches your existing system.
Wiring Style: HD (current, fully waterproof) or SAE (outdated, red & black legacy)
Wiring Topology: Parallel (same voltage to both lights) or Series (shared current draw)

Double Your Lighting Output from One Power Source
The Heavy Duty Y-Connector lets property owners simultaneously connect two Lake Lite lighting systems to a single source, doubling the total illumination output without adding a second power feed. Compatible with Lake Lite solar add-on lights and various LED canopy lighting kits, including the flexible 1.5m kits, wireless kits, and 0.5m LED light bars. The connector is the cleanest way to expand an existing lighting setup without rewiring the controller or motor.
Parallel or Series Wiring Topology
The Y-Connector is available in two wiring topologies, allowing you to choose the configuration that best matches your lighting load and electrical setup:
Parallel: both lights receive the full source voltage and operate with synchronized control. Use this when you want both lights to run at full brightness from a single power source.
Series: the source voltage is divided between the two lights while the total current draw remains the same as a single light. Use this when current load on the controller or motor needs to be carefully managed.
HD Wiring Style or SAE Wiring Style
Each topology is available in two wiring styles to match your existing system:
HD Wiring Style: the current Lake Lite fully waterproof connector system, used in modern installations and recommended for new builds.
SAE Wiring Style: the outdated red and black quick-connect format, available for compatibility with older Lake Lite installations.
Verify which wiring style your existing system uses before ordering. If you are unsure which version is right for your installation, contact us with a photo of your current connectors and we will help you select the correct variant.
18 AWG Heavy-Duty Marine-Grade Wire
All four variants are manufactured using 18 AWG heavy-duty marine-grade wire designed to resist the corrosive effects of moisture, humidity, and salt air. The HD wiring style features integrated waterproof connectors that provide a secure, weather-resistant seal at every terminal point. The marine-grade jacket maintains long-term electrical integrity through seasonal weather and continuous outdoor exposure for reliable performance season after season.
Foolproof Quick-Connect Installation
The double quick-connect system facilitates rapid attachment and removal of lighting hardware, simplifying both initial installation and ongoing seasonal management. The modular design is particularly beneficial for seasonal lift owners who disconnect lighting at the end of the boating year and reconnect at the start of the next season. The foolproof male and female connector arrangement prevents improper wiring and ensures a successful setup every time. Each unit ships with comprehensive instructions and wiring diagrams.
